Transit passengers with 5.5 to 24 hours before their connecting flight can join a free guided city tour. Register airside at the booths in the Departure Transit Hall (Terminal 2 near gate F50, Terminal 3 near gates A1–A8), 8 am–7 pm, at least 90 minutes before the tour. You must be able to enter Singapore.
Changi's terminals are linked airside, so international connections on one booking don't need a Singapore visa for any passport.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected airside by the Skytrain and walkways. Terminal 4 is linked by an airside shuttle bus.
Singapore has no domestic flights, so every connection here is international.
On separate tickets you may need to collect your bags and check in again, which means entering Singapore. Most passports don't need a visa; Indian passports can use the 96-hour Visa Free Transit Facility if they qualify.
Allow at least 60 minutes, more between terminals or on separate tickets.
None of the 16 passports we cover needs a visa to change planes airside at SIN, on one booking with your bags checked through. Entering the country, for a terminal change through immigration, a domestic flight or separate tickets, follows the rules in the table above.
